HOW TO GET TO NUSA LEMBONGAN- BALI

To get to Nusa Lembongan you will need to take a ferry from mainland Bali which you can catch in Sanur. The ferry should cost around $30 USD return and that will include pick up and drop off at your hotel in Ubud or Canggu area. The ferry leaves several times per day and is about a 45-minute boat ride. Once you arrive, if it’s in your budget, I recommend checking in at THE TAMARIND RESORT, it is an absolutely stunning place to stay and take in the amazing views of Lembongan.

WHAT TO DO ON NUSA LEMBONGAN-BALI

There are so many amazing things to do on Nusa Lembongan, but I have made a list of my top three must-sees. If you have some extra time and are looking to explore Nusa Ceningan click HERE for my top three things to do on Ceningan.

1. VISIT DREAM BEACH ON NUSA LEMBONGAN

If you’re not sure what to do on Nusa Lembongan, make sure you add Dream Beach to the list. From the snorkeling to grabbing a drink at the restaurant, or even cliff jumping for the adrenaline junkies, this place has something for everyone. If you want a more in-depth review of this location, click HERE. Once you have had a full day at the beach it is time to head over to Devil’s Tear for sunset.

2. WATCH THE SUNSET AT DEVIL’S TEAR

Devil’s Tear is one of the coolest places I have seen for sunset. There are several different tide pools that just light up when the sun begins to set. The rocks are pretty sharp so I would bring a towel to lay down if you don’t want to snag your clothing. Devil’s Tear is just around the corner from Dream Beach so they make for the perfect day when paired together. Read more about Devil’s Tear HERE.

3. GO SNORKELING WITH GIANT MANTA RAYS- BALI

Now there are many things to do in Bali and the surrounding areas, however, this by far is the coolest. It is one of the best things to do in Nusa Lembongan for sure. Snorkeling with Manta Rays in Bali is a once in a lifetime experience that you can not miss out on. For around $20 USD you can get a snorkeling trip out with these gentle giants, that is pretty hard to beat! For more information on this trip, click HERE.

Remember if you do decide to swim with them, be sure not to touch them as our skin contains bacteria that can be harmful to the mantas. It is also important to use reef friendly sunscreen as the chemicals in others can also be harmful to the rays. We want them around as long as possible so let’s protect them! Check out TROPIC SPORT, this is by no means sponsored, just a really great sun protection option that I support.
