Banah Cliff on Nusa Penida- Bali
Banah Cliff on Nusa Penida was one our first stops on the island and it really set the bar high! Every viewpoint we came across here was more epic than the last. Banah Cliff is an absolute must see if you’re visiting Nusa Penida. It is right around the corner from KELINGKING BEACH so I would recommend visiting the two in the same afternoon.
HOW TO GET TO BANAH CLIFF ON NUSA PENIDA
Banah Cliff on Nusa Penida is right around the corner from Kelingking Beach, and while it’s a bumpy drive, it is totally worth it. If you’re doing a day trip from Nusa Lembongan, make sure you tell your driver to bring you here. If you have a bit more time and are staying on Penida, you will want to rent a motorbike and give yourself some time to explore the island. You can rent a motorbike on Nusa Penida for around 70,000 Rupiah.
I have linked a map below with the exact location.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM BANAH CLIFF NUSA PENIDA
Banah Cliff is an absolutely stunning coastline filled with insane lookouts. There is a sheer drop off and they are sure to get your heart beating. When you arrive you will see a sign for Banah Cliff and shockingly there is no charge to park, which is a nice change of pace. This place is a hidden gem!
When we arrived it was midday and an absolute steamer. We dripped with sweat as we wandered around the cliff side, and were pleasantly surprised when we found some ice cream. HA! It is called doger, I had never heard of it before, but it is worth traveling to Nusa Penida for, I know that sounds crazy but it was so good. The best part about it was it was only 2,000 Rupiah or 15 cents USD.
If you have some time on Nusa Penida, I recommend hanging at Banah Cliff for sunset. The dramatic cliff faces and bright blue waters are sure to make for an epic scene.
I hope this helped you on your journey around Nusa Penida and enjoy Banah Cliff!
