A Guide to Banyumala Twin Waterfall- Bali
Banyumala Twin Waterfall in Bali is simply stunning. This location is lined with lush vegetation and a refreshing pool you can go for a dip in.
In this guide, I will show you the exact location of the waterfall, what to expect once you arrive, and where to stay in the area.
HOW TO GET TO BANYUMALA TWIN WATERFALL- BALI
Banyumala Twin Waterfall is located in the north of Bali and is a bit of a mission whether you’re staying in Canggu area or Ubud. With that being said I recommend checking out some other waterfalls in the area such as LEKE LEKE WATERFALL and BANYU WANA WATERFALL.
Now that you have decided to have an adventure filled day visiting several waterfalls, you will need to arrange transportation. You can either RENT A MOTORBIKE, or hire a private driver for the day. Renting a motorbike is always my favorite method as it really gives you so much freedom! It should cost around 60,000 Rupiah per day.
However, if you are not comfortable driving a motorbike, you can definitely hire a private driver and they can take you anywhere you like. Hiring a driver will cost around 600k to 700k Rupiah per day.
I have attached a map below of the exact location of Banyumala Twin Waterfall in Bali.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT BANYUMALA TWIN WATERFALL
As you are driving on the main road you will see a large sign for Banyumala Twin Waterfall that is hard to miss. Once you turn, expect VERY bumpy roads. Again, if you are not a confident driver, I really recommend a driver, especially for this waterfall.
When Thomas and I arrived there was nobody at the entrance so we just headed straight down to the falls. On our way back up we did have to pay the entrance fee of 15,000 Rupiah per person. The hike is moderate and should take around 20 minutes depending on your speed.
HOT TIP– Be sure to bring your bathers as Banyumala Twin Waterfall has some of the clearest waters and is such a nice place to go for a swim! If you didn’t swim at the waterfall, did you really even go?
WHERE TO STAY AROUND BANYUMALA TWIN WATERFALL- BALI
No matter where you’re staying in Bali it is going to be a bit of a drive to get to Banyumala Twin Waterfall. When we visited the waterfall we were staying in Ubud at TOYA VILLA SUWETA and it was absolutely lovely. Check the link to see current pricing and availability.
It is also very possible to mission to Banyumala Twin Waterfall from Canggu area. If that is the case I highly recommend staying at UDARA BALI. This place is an absolute sanctuary with 4 different pools and a massive sauna, as well as daily yoga!
